Position Overview:
The Medical Support Services team is responsible for the meticulous management and sanitation of respiratory and various medical apparatus to uphold stringent infection control and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance, Delivery, and Sanitation of Medical Equipment:
Ensure the sterilization of respiratory devices in accordance with manufacturer specifications to comply with regulatory standards. Maintain cleanliness and functionality of additional medical apparatus such as IV pumps, feeding pumps, and bladder scanners, ensuring readiness for patient use. Accurately assemble respiratory care equipment to guarantee patient safety. Manage the rotation and inventory of respiratory care supplies across designated areas. Oversee the procurement of specialized supplies to ensure availability as required. Deliver medical equipment to patient care areas as necessary.

Patient Transport:
Safely transport patients within the facility, ensuring secure handoffs and verifying two unique identifiers to confirm patient identity and documentation.

Monitoring Equipment Utilization and Department Operations:
Track the usage of medical equipment for various purposes, including assessing supply adequacy, ensuring timely return of rental equipment, and managing equipment rotation and returns to the central depot when not in use.

Qualifications:
Education:
A High School Diploma, GED, or an equivalent level of education is required.

Experience:
1-2 years of experience in a healthcare environment is strongly preferred.
