Position Overview

Job Title: Hospice Services Clinical Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and mentor clinical personnel in delivering hospice care within home and community settings. Ensure that patient care is effectively coordinated, executed, and managed.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an NLN accredited nursing program, preferably holding a BSN degree or actively pursuing one.
  • Valid RN license in the State of Maine and obtain National Hospice Certification within two years of employment. Current CPR certification is mandatory.
  • At least 3 - 4 years of relevant experience in acute care nursing, with a focus on Palliative and/or Hospice care. Leadership experience in a Hospice program is highly desirable. Recent experience in a Home Health environment is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with healthcare systems, including Hospice and various reimbursement methods, as well as community resources and referral processes.
