Job Summary

This position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and precision of measurements taken using various testing and measuring equipment. The Calibration Specialist will maintain, monitor, and routinely inspect calibration equipment to ensure it operates correctly and meets industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and monitor calibration equipment to ensure it operates correctly and meets industry standards.
  • Use specialized tools and techniques to test and calibrate equipment, ensuring it performs within the acceptable range of tolerance.
  • Ensure equipment is properly functioning and meets industry standards after repairs or upgrades.
  • Follow established calibration procedures to ensure accurate and consistent results.
  • Identify potential issues with measuring equipment and determine effective solutions to resolve them.
  • Communicate and convey information clearly to clients, colleagues, and supervisors.
  • Prioritize tasks, manage workload, and complete assignments within established deadlines.
Requirements:
  • Pharmaceutical experience a plus.
  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • Relevant industry certification.
  • A minimum of 1+ years experience as a calibration technician.
  • Extensive experience with equipment maintenance and repairs.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to stand, crouch, and kneel for extended periods.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination.
