Job Summary

The University of North Carolina at Greensboro is seeking a highly skilled Electronics Specialist to join our Facilities Operations team. This role is responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of all HVAC and refrigeration equipment on campus, including the repair, replacement, installation, and maintenance of air conditioning equipment ranging from 1875-ton centrifugal chillers to window air conditioning units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calibrate, operate, and maintain building automation systems, HVAC controls, and electronic devices.
  • Calibrate, operate, and maintain building utility metering.
  • Commission systems and ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Maintain and repair HVAC systems.
  • Record keeping and administration.
  • Safety protocols and procedures.
  • Renovation and new construction projects.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in electronics or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Five to seven years of directly related experience, with BAS control experience preferred.
