Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at UTHealth Houston. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality radiographs of various body parts according to physician requests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and produce radiographs using advanced equipment and techniques.
  • Prepare patients for radiographic procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Maintain quality assurance on all radiological equipment, ensuring optimal performance and patient safety.
  • Assist in the accurate timing and positioning of radiographic procedures.
  • Maintain and file radiology procedure paperwork, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Coordinate student/patient room assignments in the clinic, ensuring efficient workflow and patient care.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) by the Texas Medical Board.
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
  • Graduate from an approved two-year program in Radiologic technology.
