Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team in Sugar Land, Texas.

Job Summary

This position performs mammography radiographic procedures to detect abnormalities, make diagnoses, and treat patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiologic technology and mammography, with excellent communication and patient care skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform mammography radiographic exams on patients, ensuring compliance with radiation safety procedures
  • Enter and monitor patient data
  • Perform quality assurance on mammography equipment
  • Identify and report any accidents, complaints, or equipment malfunctions
  • Take emergency calls within the department
  • Ensure safe care to patients, staff, and visitors

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology
  • Graduate of an approved program of mammography technology
  • Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support
  • Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT)
  • Registered Radiology Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R)
  • Registered Mammography Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-M)
  • One (1) year of experience required
