About the Role:

In this role, you will:
  • Assess and evaluate assigned patients, planning, implementing, and documenting comprehensive nursing care.
  • Support physicians during examinations and medical procedures.
  • Conduct various patient tests and administer medications within the registered nurse's scope of practice.
  • Foster patient independence by setting care goals and educating patients and their families on conditions, medications, and self-care techniques.
  • Utilize your experience and judgment to effectively plan and achieve patient care objectives.
  • Maintain on-call availability with a 30-minute response time.
  • Work day shifts in a flexible schedule of 5x8 or 4x10 hours.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you should possess:
  • A valid Florida RN license.
  • An Associate's Degree in Nursing; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • A minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, including 2 years in critical care or emergency settings, as well as perioperative (pre/post) experience.
