Medsurg Charge Nurse RN

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Charge Nurse RN to join our Medsurg team at Physicians Regional Healthcare System. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the work activities of professional and technical staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the work activities of professional and technical staff
- Organize and coordinate department activities through effective assignment of responsibilities and delegation of authority
- Provide direction and motivation to assigned personnel
- Monitor and evaluate department personnel performance, providing coaching, guidance, and on-the-job training as needed
- Initiate progressive disciplinary action as necessary
- Monitor and evaluate systems and processes, initiating changes and improvements to ensure operational efficiency
- Ensure quality assurance standards are followed, and quality control tests are performed as required
- Communicate with administration, medical staff, employees, and other departments to coordinate efforts and address problems or concerns
- Establish quality improvement, fiscal productivity, and patient satisfaction goals and objectives in conjunction with upper management
Requirements:
- FL RN License
- BLS and ACLS Certifications
- Minimum Two (2) years' experience in an acute care setting
