Senior Principal Low Observable Materials Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal Low Observable Materials Engineer to join our team at Raytheon. As a key member of our mechanical design team, you will be responsible for developing and integrating advanced materials and technologies to support our Low Observable (LO) weapon systems.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and characterize advanced materials and processes for LO applications
- Integrate materials and processes into system-level designs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement LO technologies
- Perform material measurements and predictions using Computational Electromagnetic Codes (CEM) tools
- Lead and mentor early career engineers in materials development and integration
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
- 10+ years of experience in Low Observables or Radar materials engineering
- Experience in material characterization, performance testing, and/or design
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
- Master's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
- Experience with high temperature LO materials characterization and integration
- Competence in utilizing thermal analysis techniques
- Agile communicator with effective interaction style

We offer a competitive salary range of $118,000 - $246,000, as well as benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k) match. Hired applicants may also be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs.
