Job Overview

Hudson Table Holdings LLC is seeking a skilled Culinary Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with food preparation and presentation for hands-on cooking classes and events.
  • Set up and break down kitchen areas, ensuring all equipment is clean and functional.
  • Prepare mise en place, including measuring, washing, and preparing ingredients and equipment.
  • Review recipes and lesson plans to ensure all necessary ingredients and equipment are available.
  • Assist chefs and guests during classes, answering questions and providing guidance as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including removing dirty dishes and equipment and storing clean items properly.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Culinary Director or Chef Instructor.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Culinary degree from an accredited program preferred.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in the food industry.
  • Familiarity with food ingredients and kitchen safety procedures.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
