Job Summary

Hudson Table Holdings LLC is seeking a skilled Culinary Studio Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will assist in the preparation and presentation of culinary experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of multi-course menus for catered events and public dinners
  • Set up and break down kitchen areas, ensuring all equipment is clean and functional
  • Prepare mise en place for workstations, including measuring, washing, and preparing ingredients and equipment
  • Review recipes and lesson plans to ensure all ingredients and equipment are in place
  • Assist the Chef/Culinary Instructor during classes, answering questions and providing guidance as needed
  • Ensure the kitchen and prep areas remain clean, removing dirty dishes and used equipment as classes or events progress
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Culinary Director or Chef Instructor
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Culinary degree from an accredited program (desired)
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in the food industry
  • Familiarity with food ingredients and kitchen safety
  • Ability to multi-task and set up/break down rooms for classes in a timely fashion
  • Ability to lift 40-60 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
