Job Summary

The Territory Sales Representative is a key role in driving business growth and customer satisfaction at Casella Waste Systems. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, identifying new sales opportunities, and implementing effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and profit goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales plans to drive customer acquisitions and achieve revenue and profit goals.
  • Work with subject matter experts to develop and maintain a deep understanding of Casella products and services.
  • Seek opportunities to increase services to existing customers and develop a fully functioning account retention program.
  • Maintain strong relationships with drivers, operations, customers, and customer service representatives to ensure the safest service procedures.
  • Utilize Microsoft Dynamics 365 to set and communicate monthly goals and accomplishments and implement effective time management goals.
  • Develop tasks and activities that support both personal and company goals and communicate actual results to goals on a monthly basis.
  • Attend all divisional and regional sales meetings to aid in training and increase networking opportunities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or marketing.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years sales experience.
  • Experience or interest in an environmental or sustainability field.
  • Relevant sales certifications.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel 80% of the time within a defined territory.
