Palo Verde Pet Clinic: A Leader in Small Animal Veterinary Care

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Associate Veterinarian to join our dedicated team at Palo Verde Pet Clinic. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional care to our furry patients and their owners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Examine, diagnose, and treat animals brought into the veterinary clinic/hospital for medical care
  • Perform surgical procedures as needed, including routine spay/neuter operations as well as more complex surgeries
  • Prescribe and administer medications, treatments, and preventative care plans
  • Counsel pet owners on animal health, nutrition, behavior, and overall wellbeing
  • Interpret diagnostic tests such as x-rays, blood work, etc. and develop treatment plans
  • Maintain comprehensive patient medical records and documentation
  • Assist in emergencies and provide urgent/critical care when needed
Requirements:
  • Valid and in good standing licensed veterinarian within the state of Arizona
  • 2+ years of clinical experience, preferred but not required
  • Strong clinical skills and sound medical judgment
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Time-management and delegation abilities
  • Exercises sound judgement and demonstrates exemplary decision-making skills
