Pediatric Advanced Practice Provider Opportunity
Cleveland Clinic is seeking a skilled Pediatric Advanced Practice Provider to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, working closely with our pediatric population to promote optimal health and well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough medical histories and perform complete physical examinations to establish a record of the patient's current health status and develop a working diagnosis and treatment plan.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.
- Prescribe and monitor medications as allowed by license, educate patients and families about their health needs, and refer patients to specialists as necessary.
- Participate in medical team rounds, collaborate with nursing and other healthcare team members, and ensure continuity of care.
- Participate in quality monitoring, review patient records and treatment plans, and assure quality care.
Requirements:
- MSN required upon hire or within 3 years of hire for external hires and internal hires moving from a non-APRN licensed role to an APRN licensed role.
- Graduate of an accredited APRN program.
- Currently licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in applicable state(s).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
Work Experience:
Related clinical experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Typical physical demands include the ability to walk and stand for long periods of time, manual and finger dexterity, and eye/hand coordination to perform physical examinations.
Personal Protective Equipment:
Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
