Pediatric Emergency Medical Technician Job Description

Advanced Care Partners is seeking a skilled and passionate Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team in providing exceptional care to pediatric patients in a Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC) setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide medical procedures, such as tracheostomy care and ventilator monitoring, to pediatric patients.
  • Recognize and respond appropriately to medical emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients.
  • Maintain a positive environment for the development of children through a caring and supportive attitude.
  • Assist with day-to-day maintenance of the center, including equipment upkeep, supply management, and infection control.
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of pediatric experience (preferred) or willingness to train as an EMT intern.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
