Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Commercial Banker to join our team. This role is centered on the acquisition and management of commercial loans, commercial real estate financing, and banking services, aligning with personalized business development objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acquire and manage commercial loans, real estate financing, and banking services based on established business development targets.
- Achieve quarterly growth objectives for the managed portfolio.
- Exhibit a thorough understanding of risk management and covenant compliance.
- Present bank products and services to potential clients and business leaders, perform underwriting tasks, and consistently monitor credit quality.
- Senior Commercial Bankers may supervise junior associates.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related discipline, along with a minimum of 6 years of experience in commercial lending and credit analysis.
- Possess advanced knowledge as a generalist or specialist in unique customer product segments within lending and credit evaluation, preferably in a commercial lending context.
- In-depth understanding of banking products and commercial lending methodologies.
- Ability to enhance loan portfolios, foster client relationships, and cross-sell banking services.
- Familiarity with sales, loan processing, and closing procedures.
- Exceptional underwriting capabilities.
- Proficient in interviewing loan applicants with strong judgment skills.
- Ability to structure loans and monitor credit performance effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
- Proficient in software applications, including word processing and spreadsheets.
