As a Strategic Partnerships Manager, you will spearhead and cultivate business collaborations across Apple's engineering and product divisions with external stakeholders to establish pioneering technologies and services.

Your responsibilities will encompass cross-functional collaboration, inventive problem-solving, effective deal structuring, and leading strategy and negotiations with Apple's partners.

In this capacity, you will harness and enhance your understanding of intricate commercial agreements, intellectual property, and operational dynamics. Responsibilities:

  • Formulate, negotiate, and implement strategic partnerships for technology development, licensing, and other collaborative ventures with external entities.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with third-party executive teams as a representative of Apple.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across Apple departments, including engineering, legal, finance, and others, both during negotiations and post-deal execution.
  • Conduct data-driven research and industry analysis of emerging technologies to pinpoint opportunities and guide commercial strategy development with internal teams.
  • Engage deeply with both emerging and established technologies, encompassing hardware, software, services, AI/ML, Generative AI, and LLMs, among others.
  • Create clear and concise proposals and present them to senior leadership.


Key Qualifications:
Passion and experience in Generative AI, Smart Home, Emerging Hardware Technologies, and related industry trends, along with 7+ years of relevant experience in partnerships, business development, strategy, or emerging technologies.

Proficiency in navigating ambiguity through structured approaches and distilling complex information for clear presentations and decisions.

Experience in negotiating partnerships within operational businesses or supply chains, along with a solid understanding of commercial contracts and the ability to creatively address complex situations.

Knowledge of licensing and intellectual property, coupled with excellent communication skills to articulate intricate concepts to cross-functional teams, external partners, and Apple executives.

Proven ability to work collaboratively across various departments (Engineering, Content and Prototyping, Legal, Marketing, Finance, etc.).

Experience in managing third-party relationships and conveying key insights and proposals to senior management.

Strong analytical skills with the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.

Willingness to travel internationally (10-20% of the time).

Preferred Qualifications:
MBA or JD preferred, with a background in Engineering or Sciences.

Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree.

Willingness to travel internationally (20% - 30%).

Compensation & Benefits:
At Apple, base pay is just one component of our comprehensive compensation package, determined within a specified range.

The base pay range for this position is between $151,200 and $227,600, with your specific pay dependent on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become shareholders through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.

Employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards and can purchase Apple stock at a discount through the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
