Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative to join our team at Trinity Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to ensure a seamless experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Registration: Interview patients to obtain demographic and financial information, complete related forms and records, and enter information into computerized systems.
  • Payment Collection: Determine and collect payment required at point of registration, including deposits, co-pays, minimum charges, and non-covered services.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule and arrange patient appointments for diagnostic tests and procedures, following established scheduling guidelines and procedures.
  • Communication and Customer Service: Communicate with patients regarding their financial responsibility, benefit, and authorization status prior to clinical services, and provide exceptional customer service to ensure patient satisfaction.
  • Data Entry and Management: Utilize various information systems to enter and access information in a pre-coded format, maintain departmental computer database files and data, and perform data retrieval and analysis as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a healthcare or administrative setting preferred.
  • Skills: Strong communication and customer service skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
