Job Summary:
Host Healthcare is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Travel Nurse RN - Progressive Care Unit. As a Travel Nurse RN - PCU, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a Progressive Care Unit or similar setting.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
