Position Overview: LJA is broadening its footprint in the Arizona region and is in search of a dynamic, licensed land surveyor eager to establish and expand a surveying team. This role encompasses business development, recruitment of new personnel, oversight of field operations, mentorship of technical staff, and project management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with project managers and fellow surveyors to execute surveys effectively.
  • Conduct boundary survey calculations, perform analysis, and finalize map checks while managing client relations.
  • Supervise surveying projects to ensure timely execution, adherence to budget constraints, and compliance with client and company standards.
  • Prepare project timelines and cost estimates, including manpower requirements and procurement of necessary equipment.
  • Foster and maintain client relationships within the Arizona market.
  • Review, endorse, and seal survey documentation.
  • Develop, revise, and uphold survey standards and specifications.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 15 years of industry experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in project management.
  • Proficient in project scheduling, personnel management, and work production techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Adept at building strong relationships with both internal and external clients.
