Job Summary

The Patient Care Technician will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care, including monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and have a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment
  • Assist with patient assessments, including vital signs and laboratory results
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare team
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
