Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Operations Manager with a background in Building Materials and Construction industries. Our company, Gpac, specializes in doors, windows, lumber, and trusses for home builders and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations to meet production targets and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Create a positive and safe work environment that promotes employee engagement and well-being.
  • Develop and adjust production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize production capacity.
  • Implement company policies and uphold quality standards to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure customer satisfaction and build strong relationships.
  • Utilize strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to drive business growth and success.
  • Stay up-to-date with manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety procedures to ensure compliance and excellence.
  • Effectively manage staff and delegate tasks to ensure seamless operations and high productivity.

Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in Operations Management, preferably in the Building Materials and Construction industries.
  • Proficiency in Building Materials, Millwork, Windows, and Doors, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control.
  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management or a related field is preferred, but not required.
  • Familiarity with computer systems and applications, including software and hardware used in the industry.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required.
  • A valid driver's license and good driving record are necessary for travel and site visits.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for building relationships with customers, employees, and stakeholders.
