We are seeking a skilled PET/CT Technologist to join our team at Touchette Regional Hospital. As a PET/CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest-quality diagnostic images are produced, enabling physicians to diagnose with pinpoint accuracy and treat with confidence.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Safety and Comfort: Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures, including pre-screening for contraindications and aseptic injection technique.
- Diagnostic Imaging: Produce high-quality diagnostic images using PET/CT technology.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with customers and/or radiologists to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatments.
- Equipment Maintenance: Troubleshoot and maintain scanner, coach, and peripheral equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Education: High School Diploma or Associate's Degree.
- Certification: Certification in Nuclear Medicine by the NMTCB or ARRT (N) required. State License as required.
- Experience: 1-2 years PET imaging experience or 1-2 years' experience in Nuclear Medicine procedures and studies preferred.
