PET/CT Technologist

PET/CT Technologists at Touchette Regional Hospital play a vital role in ensuring patient comfort, safety, and satisfaction. They connect with patients, explain procedures, and interpret physician orders to produce high-quality PET/CT images.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for patient safety, including pre-screening for contraindications and radiation safety regulations.
Produces high-quality diagnostic images using appropriate software options and imaging parameters.
Effectively communicates with customers and radiologists to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatments.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or Associate's Degree.
Certification in Nuclear Medicine by the NMTCB or ARRT (N) required. State License as required.
AHA BLS certification required.
1-2 years PET imaging experience or 1-2 years' experience in Nuclear Medicine procedures and studies preferred.
