Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at AdaptHealth LLC. As a Ventilation Specialist, you will provide expert care to patients requiring ventilatory support, ensuring optimal outcomes and a high level of patient satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments to identify patient needs and develop personalized care plans.
  • Administer and manage ventilatory therapy, including oxygen therapy and airway clearance techniques.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and coordinate with referral sources and physicians.
  • Provide education and support to patients and caregivers on ventilator use and maintenance.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest ventilatory technologies and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
  • Document patient care activities, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical documentation and policies.
Requirements
  • Associates degree from an AMA-approved respiratory program.
  • Valid and unrestricted RT clinical license in all states serviced by the branch.
  • One year of clinical experience as a Health Care RT, HME RT, or clinical nursing with Vent experience.
  • Valid and unrestricted driver's license.
Work Environment

As a Respiratory Therapist with AdaptHealth LLC, you will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, interacting with patients, families, and healthcare teams to deliver high-quality care. You will be required to travel to patient homes and healthcare facilities, and may be exposed to unsanitary conditions, hazardous materials, and other challenging situations.
