Key Responsibilities- Testing and Analysis: Perform standard laboratory and applications testing to ensure the quality and efficacy of our products.
- Workflow Management: Manage laboratory workflow for multiple, concurrent applications projects, ensuring timely completion and effective resource allocation.
- Communication: Communicate results, observations, and work progress to supervisors and customers, providing clear and concise updates on project status.
- Customer Interaction: Interact with customers by effectively communicating project updates and presenting project results, building strong relationships and trust.
- Technical Development: Build experience to give technical presentations, visit customer sites, and attend trade shows, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
- Safety and Compliance: Work with low to moderately hazardous chemicals using appropriate safety procedures and practices, ensuring a safe and compliant work environment.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field, with relevant work experience preferred.
- Skills: Strong data observation and interpretation skills, computer skills, and math aptitude, with ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Personal Qualities: Good analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and accuracy, with ability to compare data, detect inconsistencies, and determine actions for resolution.
- Communication: Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with ability to interact effectively and positively with supervisors, peers, and across functions.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize multiple work deadlines and manage competing demands.
The successful candidate will work in a lab environment, with the ability to stand for long periods of time at a bench performing tasks, and lift objects that are less than or equal to 30 lbs. The role requires daily use of a computer to effectively complete job functions.
