Position Summary:

  • Oversee pre-sale and post-sale customer support to ensure satisfaction
  • Develop and execute strategies for business growth in GC/MS technologies
  • Assist clients with the development of methods and applications
  • Lead a team of research scientists in their development efforts
  • Provide insights to marketing and research & development teams
  • Foster and maintain constructive relationships with clients
  • Make strategic decisions that align with organizational objectives
  • Balance the needs of customers with the requirements of the business

Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in developing methods and applications for GC/MS
  • 5 years of experience in customer support within chemical analysis
  • Proficient in data analysis and interpretation
  • Experience with tandem mass spectrometry techniques
  • Exceptional communication abilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills and relationship management
  • Solid understanding of scientific principles

Preferred Skills:

  • Ability to identify and implement GC/MS solutions for chemical analysis
  • Experience in developing application protocols and optimizing methods
  • Capability to author technical documentation
  • Experience in presenting and training others on GC/MS operations
  • Supervisory experience with Chemists in experimental settings
