About the RoleThe Community Director is a critical position that oversees the overall operations, success, and tenant satisfaction of our community. This role requires a strong leader who can effectively manage staff, operations, and financial performance while ensuring efficient operations and vendor relations.
Key Responsibilities- Meet targeted revenue goals by exceeding occupancy budgets, improving resident retention, and monitoring the property's financial performance.
- Manage staff, operations, and financial performance of the community, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Represent Elmington to residents, vendors, and employees, maintaining a professional image and effectively communicating with stakeholders.
- Continuously learn and improve business processes, identifying opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve resident satisfaction, retention, and overall community experience.
- Minimum 2 years of multi-family property management experience.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer service focus and ability to build strong relationships with residents, vendors, and employees.
- Financial management, review, and reporting skills.
- Knowledge of federal fair housing standards and other relevant laws.
- Ability to operate computers and other technological devices.
- Organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
