Job Title: IT Asset ManagerJoin Skillsessential as an IT Asset Manager, responsible for developing and implementing processes and procedures for tracking and analyzing software, hardware, and equipment through their lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement asset management processes and procedures
- Provide day-to-day operational and maintenance support for production issues, troubleshooting, and resolving issues related to the Asset Management module in Remedy and Service Now
- Conduct annual inventory audits and develop processes and procedures for consistency
- Perform bulk uploads of asset data and identify and perform audits on asset data
- Develop and maintain asset-related foundation data and develop asset reports for users and management
- Create user accounts, site information, hardware and product categorizations, and support groups
- Participate in user acceptance testing and manage fixed and floating licensing for the Asset Management Module
- Create end-user documentation and develop and conduct training
- Minimum of 2-4 years experience with BMC Remedy (version 20.02) or equivalent ITSM tool
- Strong working knowledge of the CMDB and Asset Management methodology, tools, terminology, and industry best practices
- Excellent communication skills, including meeting management and facilitation
- Excellent organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities successfully, delivering high quality
- Excellent customer service skills, servicing and interfacing with individuals across IT (customers) in different roles
- Proficient in using all Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams)
