Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Community Director to join our Elmington team in Harrisburg, PA. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations, success, and tenant satisfaction of our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive revenue growth by exceeding occupancy budgets, improving resident retention, and monitoring financial performance.
  • Effectively manage staff, operations, and financial performance of the community.
  • Serve as the primary representative of Elmington to residents, vendors, and employees.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve business processes and performance.
  • Think creatively and develop innovative solutions to drive business growth.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to residents and team members.
  • Lead by example and maintain a positive, energetic work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with federal fair housing standards and all other relevant laws.
  • Present a professional image and effectively represent the company to residents, vendors, and owners.
  • Operate computers and other technological devices with proficiency.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident files in both electronic and hardcopy formats.
  • Respond to issues outside of regular working hours as needed.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in multifamily property management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer service-focused with a strong emphasis on resident satisfaction.
  • Strong financial management, review, and reporting skills.
  • Ability to ensure all team members comply with federal fair housing standards and other relevant laws.
  • Professional image and effective representation of the company to residents, vendors, and owners.
  • Proficiency in operating computers and other technological devices.
