Job Description and Duties

The Associate Personnel Analyst (APA) plays a crucial role in providing personnel consultation to staff and management at the Office of Tax Appeals. This position requires a high level of independence and collaboration with other HR professionals to perform a wide range of personnel assignments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice on classification and pay, examinations, position control, and EEO programs to staff and management.
  • Develop and implement personnel policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Conduct recruitment and selection activities to attract and hire top talent for the Office of Tax Appeals.
  • Administer benefits and compensation programs to ensure fairness and equity for all employees.

Requirements:
