Tax Senior Manager

As a Tax Senior Manager - Trust and Estate, you will have the opportunity to work with high net worth individuals and families, preparing and reviewing complex tax returns and providing expert guidance on estate and gift tax planning.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and review 1041 trust and estate income tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Prepare fiduciary accountings, including knowledge of state statutes and familiarity with document review as it applies to a fiduciary accounting.
- Analyze tax issues and provide expert conclusions, demonstrating a deep understanding of tax laws and regulations.
- Perform diversified accounting and tax assignments under the direction of a senior manager or partner, demonstrating technical skills and work quality.
- Meet time constraints and client deadlines, providing excellent client service and producing quality work.
- Participate in firm training courses to further develop technical skills and ability to train others.
- Must have fiduciary experience, with a strong background in trust department or accounting firm family private office fiduciary tax and/or administration.
- 8+ years of experience in preparation and review of 1041, 706, and 709 returns, high net worth 1040 preparation, and planning affecting estate and gift tax returns.
- Experience with preparation and review of GST issues associated with 706, 709, 706-GS (D), and 706 GS (T) filings.
- CPA designation, with EA, CFTA, CFP, PFS, and PFP designations strongly preferred.
