Join RSM US LLP as a Tax Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our Business Tax practice. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional tax services to our clients, including tax planning, compliance, and advisory services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on tax planning and compliance matters, including succession planning, wealth transfer planning, and tax compliance
  • Manage and oversee the engagement team focused on Partnership, S corporation or C Corporation as well as Individual and Fiduciary taxation
  • Collaborate with RSM specialists regarding Estate and Gift planning, State and Local Taxation, and International Taxation
  • Provide leadership, training, and career mentorship to Staff and Supervisor level team members
  • Drive and collaborate with senior leadership on growth opportunities with existing clients and prospects
  • Develop and sustain strong relationships with clients and other professional advisors through a commitment to outstanding client service

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or business-related field
  • CPA license in one's principal place of business/home state, licensed J.D. or Enrolled Agent
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in public accounting with an emphasis on taxation
  • Proficient in entity (Partnership, S Corporation or C Corporation) and Individual Taxation
  • Familiar with Fiduciary, Gift, and Estate Taxation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • LL.M. in taxation and/or Master's in Taxation
  • Experience with private client or business taxation with a desire to grow skills in the Private Company arena
  • Working knowledge of tax code and technical aspects of tax preparation and compliance
