The Senior Cost Accountant plays a pivotal role in driving business growth and efficiency by analyzing and optimizing manufacturing costs. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement cost accounting strategies to drive business growth and efficiency.
  • Analyze and report on manufacturing costs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to ensure accurate costing and support new product development.
  • Manage and maintain the cost accounting system, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to executive management, highlighting key findings and recommendations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing cost accounting, with a focus on process improvement and analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office products.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with JD Edwards ERP system.
