We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team at Communitas. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in providing individualized support and care to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, including assistance with daily living tasks, personal care, and social skills development.
  • Help individuals attain independence in all aspects of daily living, including cooking, cleaning, and hygiene.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all information relating to individuals within our residential homes.
  • Provide personal care and assistance to individuals consistent with individual needs as they strive to reach their goals.
Requirements:
  • MAP certification highly preferred; MAP training offered.
  • High School diploma required (BA degree in Human Services or related field preferred).
  • At least 1 year of experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities is preferred.
  • A passion and dedication to supporting our people is a must.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record.
  • Must pass company background and reference checks.
