Direct Support Professional 2

Our team is committed to delivering high-quality support through community housing, day programs, outpatient treatment, recovery services, education, and employment training.
We're seeking a skilled and compassionate Direct Support Professional 2 to join our team in providing support and assistance to individuals with developmental and psychiatric disabilities during the overnight hours in Level 2 residential programs.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with individuals with disabilities, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support and assistance to individuals with all activities of daily living.
- Deliver services to individuals according to DDS, CARF, and all applicable regulatory standards and Bridgewell policies and procedures.
- Maintain required documentation according to DDS and all applicable regulatory standards, and Bridgewell policies and procedures.
- Assist individuals during the overnight shift.
- Complete household cleaning duties as assigned.
- Administer medications according to MAP regulations.
- Maintain core training certifications including CPR/FA, OSHA, CPI, PABC, and MAP.
- Transport individuals as needed.
- Comply with Bridgewell Awake Overnight Call-In procedures.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED - Associate's Degree or DSP Certification preferred.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience working with people with developmental or psychiatric disabilities is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
