Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Technician II to join our team at Frontier Communications. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining our telecommunications infrastructure, ensuring seamless service delivery to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, rearrange, and repair service drops, cables, and associated wiring, using hand/motorized tools and following installation diagrams and work orders.
  • Connect drops, local cables, and inside/outside wiring to various terminals, making attachments to poles, buildings, and other structures as required.
  • Test and inspect cable air pressure systems and perform maintenance as needed.
  • Install and maintain fiber-optic cable to curb terminals, and perform maintenance splicing on copper and/or fiber-optic cable.
  • Conduct cable pair recovery for non-work orders and maintain all analog/digital carrier systems for subscribers.
  • Make notations on service orders, work orders, and blueprints to indicate completion of work, including time spent and changes from original work requested.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid California class C driver's license and proficiency in operating a vehicle equipped with standard transmission required.
  • Ability to perceive differences in colors and distinguish audible tones/levels required.
  • Legally required Criminal Records Check and continuous screening process required.
