As an RN Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Director of Nursing in delivering efficient and effective nursing care while ensuring positive clinical outcomes and satisfaction for patients, families, and staff.
Position Highlights:
* Report directly to the Director of Nursing.
* Lead and oversee the clinical operations of nursing units during your assigned shift, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
* Facilitate the implementation of care delivery models and processes.
* Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate staffing levels for safe, 24/7 nursing care, focusing on minimizing overtime and agency staff usage.
* Participate in staff recruitment, orientation for new hires, mentorship, and make recommendations regarding promotions, transfers, and terminations.
Qualifications:
Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with current registered nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing. A minimum of three years of full-time or equivalent clinical experience is required, including at least two years in long-term care nursing and one year in a management or supervisory role is preferred. A BSN is preferred. Current BLS/CPR certification and RN license must be maintained.
