Senior Manager, Marketing Measurement Science

The Senior Manager of Marketing Measurement Science is a critical role within General Motors, responsible for driving business growth through data-driven decision making. This individual will lead a team of analysts and data scientists to develop and implement marketing measurement strategies that optimize media mix spend and drive sales and subscriptions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement marketing measurement strategies that align with business objectives
- Lead a team of analysts and data scientists to design and execute experiments and analyses to inform marketing decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate marketing measurement insights into business planning and execution
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure business acceptance of proposed methods and objective performance evaluation
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in marketing measurement and analytics
Requirements:
- 9+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or quantitative insights in an enterprise setting
- 5+ years working with a marketing/media team on shared objectives
- 2+ years of experience successfully leading technical teams or work
- Ability to evaluate the big picture and solve business problems rather than focusing solely on metrics
- Deep knowledge around the proper application of causal inference techniques, hypothesis testing, statistical/econometric modeling, and machine learning models
- Prior experience with at least one of the following methodologies: media mix modeling, multitouch attribution, customer lifetime value, customer loyalty and churn, behavior-based segmentation, incrementality modeling, multi-touch attribution, propensity modeling or targeting
- Skilled in multiple programming languages and statistical analyses/machine learning tools (Python, R, SAS, SQL, Pyspark) and extensive experience in Big Data platforms (AWS, S3, Azure/Databricks)
