Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse - Night Shift Supervisor

We are seeking an exceptional Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team as a Night Shift Supervisor at the Southeast Area On Grounds Program. As a Night Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing direct care and supervision to clients in a residential setting while maintaining a person-centered, trauma-informed atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure care and rehabilitation is provided as prescribed by the Community Service Plans (CSP).
  • Coordinate medication services, including following through with physician orders, filling out Residential Information Sheets, and checking to ensure that each coincides.
  • Monitor, report, and record client's response to current medication and treatment regimens and report findings to the supervisor for follow-up with appropriate medical practitioners.
  • Administer medications and treatment orders as prescribed by an appropriate medical practitioner.
  • Accompany clients and ensure that clients receive emergency care, as needed.
  • Maintain and monitor a medication closet, first aid, and infection control supplies to ensure that everything is labeled, kept in order, and that adequate supplies are on hand.
Requirements:
  • Possession of a current and valid license as a practical nurse under the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing.
  • Possession of a current and valid Massachusetts Class D Driver's License or equivalent required for this position.
About the On Grounds Program:

The On Grounds Program is part of the Taunton/Attleboro Site that transitions clients from an inpatient setting to a more independent community living setting. The Program is staffed 24 hours a day/7 day a week, and we strive to create an environment that promotes growth and independence for patients, families, and employees alike.
