The organization is on the lookout for a DevOps Engineer who will take charge of the integration and continuous security oversight of their platform as they incorporate applications and AI technologies into healthcare operations.
This position encompasses the technical development and management of cloud infrastructure, significant engagement in Kubernetes orchestration, and ensuring effective product integration and dependability. In this capacity, you will play a crucial role in fostering technical advancement and operational excellence as the organization expands.
This is a HYBRID position with onsite requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, oversee, and enhance our cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ensuring peak performance, security, and cost-effectiveness.
- Participate in our code-first methodology for continuous integration/continuous delivery, refining deployment strategies and automation processes.
- Direct Kubernetes cluster management, applying best practices in container orchestration, scaling, and network security.
- Work closely with development teams to incorporate the latest updates into our platform, ensuring scalability and responsiveness.
- Establish and uphold robust security measures, including access controls, encryption, and vulnerability management. Implement and manage logging, monitoring, and alerting systems.
- Perform regular security assessments and penetration testing to ensure adherence to security standards and healthcare regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience with Google Cloud services, especially Kubernetes/GKE.
- Expertise in managing applications and infrastructure dependencies utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IAC) and GitOps workflows.
- Solid understanding of networking principles and security measures, particularly in a microservices architecture deployed in a cloud-native environment.
- Advanced knowledge of security monitoring, logging, automation, and configuration management tools to meet service level agreements.
- Familiarity or a strong desire to learn about the healthcare sector, including its economic aspects, daily operations of healthcare providers, and relevant data standards and regulations.
