KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee the construction schedule for residential communities to ensure timely and quality completion of homes.
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors while upholding safety, quality, and budget standards.
  • Utilize scheduling software to maintain and update accurate timelines daily.
  • Conduct daily inspections of homes and subcontractor work to assess progress and readiness for subsequent trades.
  • Maintain a clean and organized job site that reflects our company standards.
  • Supervise and mentor assigned Construction Manager Assistants.
  • Minimize waste and control costs on-site.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the construction process.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment through effective communication and problem-solving.
  • Implement company policies and construction standards to guarantee consistent quality.
  • Ensure homes are completed to satisfaction, addressing any deficiencies and conducting customer orientations.
  • Schedule and manage all necessary inspections and adhere to local building codes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in residential construction management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent customer service abilities.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Ability to lift and carry weights of 20/60/100 pounds regularly.
  • Capability to navigate uneven terrain safely.
  • Finger dexterity for operating a computer and tools.
  • Frequent bending, squatting, and climbing.
  • Continuous movement and activity on-site.
  • Work in various outdoor weather conditions.
