About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our team at Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts. As a key member of our hotel operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, service, and product quality in our guest rooms, public spaces, and banquet/meeting/conference rooms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Daily Housekeeping Operations: Oversee the daily cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms, public spaces, and other areas of the hotel to ensure they are clean, tidy, and meet our high standards.
  • Lead a Team of Housekeeping Staff: Supervise and motivate a team of housekeeping staff to ensure they are working efficiently and effectively to meet our high standards.
  • Monitor and Improve Quality Standards: Conduct regular room inspections to ensure that our quality standards are being met and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Recruit and Train Staff: Recruit, interview, and train new housekeeping staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively.
  • Manage Budget and Resources: Manage the housekeeping budget and resources to ensure that we are operating efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Previous Housekeeping Management Experience: You will need to have previous experience in a housekeeping management role in a luxury hotel or resort.
  • Leadership and Team Management Skills: You will need to have strong leadership and team management skills to motivate and inspire your team to deliver exceptional results.
  • Attention to Detail: You will need to have a keen eye for detail to ensure that our quality standards are being met.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: You will need to have excellent communication skills to work effectively with your team, other departments, and guests.
