Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver educational programs focused on job readiness, integrating technology to enhance learning.
- Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of Human Resources Development principles and key competencies.
- Showcase strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Be adept with technology and proficient in standard software applications.
- Assist learners in creating employment-related documents utilizing technology.
- Collaborate with colleagues and community partners as needed.
- Comply with established policies and procedures to safeguard student data and privacy.
- Complete necessary documentation for timely data entry.
- Provide constructive feedback to students regarding their progress and assessments.
- Maintain accurate records including class rosters, attendance, and evaluation forms.
- Notify prison staff and coordinators of any student-related issues promptly.
Required Education and Experience:
- Associate's degree in Human Resources Development or a related field.
- At least one year of teaching experience.
- Experience in a correctional environment is preferred.
- Light physical activity, including the ability to move objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
- Primarily sedentary work involving sitting and standing.
