The Corrections Officer is responsible for overseeing and directing the activities of inmates within the Detention Center and during transport to other facilities. This is a critical role that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and direct the activities of inmates within the Detention Center and during transport to other facilities
  • Ensure the safety and security of inmates, staff, and visitors
  • Enforce rules and regulations, and maintain order and discipline within the facility
  • Provide support and guidance to inmates, and facilitate their rehabilitation and reintegration into society
  • Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies and community organizations to promote public safety and well-being
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check and polygraph examination
  • Physical fitness and ability to pass a physical fitness test
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
