Clinical Responsibilities

The Registered Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for providing quality respiratory care to patients of all ages. This includes evaluating patient clinical status, developing plans of care, performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and communicating effectively with patients and families.

Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
  • Current Florida Respiratory Therapist licensure and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NRBC).
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
