Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Titus Regional Medical Center. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing patient care and maintaining a clean environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide care appropriate to the age of the population served.
  • Assist with personal hygiene and care to all patients.
  • Accurately measure and record vital signs, weights, and heights, and intake/output.
  • Recognize abnormal findings and report them appropriately.
  • Provide meal assistance to patients as needed.
  • Collect specimens as directed.
  • Utilize special beds appropriately and trigger alarms on high-risk patients.
  • Keep patient rooms neat and tidy.
Requirements
  • One year of experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
  • Clerical and medical terminology experience preferred.
  • Basic computer experience preferred.
  • Legible handwriting and ability to spell, read, and write English preferred.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills preferred.
  • Performance of simple math calculations preferred.
Education
  • Texas State Certified Nurse Aide License is required.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) within 30 days of hire date required.
Work Environment

This position requires the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 10 pounds, with occasional lifting of heavier objects. The work environment is fast-paced and requires the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
