As the Director of Operations, you will be responsible for steering the operational success of various locations, maintaining complete P&L accountability, and establishing the standards, culture, and expectations for our leadership team. Our organization values results and recognizes that the key to success lies in our locations, starting with our dedicated staff. In this role, you will need to effectively train, inspire, and engage with team members as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance sales performance, foster customer loyalty, and optimize operational expenses.
  • Utilize performance management tools, including development plans, to offer constructive feedback and guidance to your team.
  • Recruit, train, and lead exceptional unit-level management personnel.
  • Cultivate a positive work environment and boost team morale.
  • Assume full P&L responsibilities.
  • Supervise all General Managers; accountable for their development and success.
  • Establish clear expectations for General Managers, empowering them to develop their teams and enhance guest experiences.
  • Build a leadership pipeline at the restaurant level, focusing on succession planning for Assistant General Managers and hourly managers.
  • Provide targeted feedback and coaching on management performance, identifying areas for improvement and growth opportunities.
  • Encourage collaboration between Front of House and Back of House teams at both store and executive levels, ensuring effective communication.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in multi-unit management within a quick-service or full-service chain.
  • At least 10 years of P&L management experience.
  • Proven ability to communicate, influence, and negotiate effectively while motivating staff.
  • Strong prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Demonstrated capability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
  • Prior experience in a management role.
  • Familiarity with Back of House Systems, Point of Sale Systems, and Restaurant Operating Systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of budgeting concepts and procedures.
  • Thorough understanding of the performance review process.
