Job Title: FOH Shift Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced FOH Shift Lead to join our team at Ramen Tatsu-Ya Payroll LLC. As a FOH Shift Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the front-of-house operations, ensuring high standards of guest service, and leading our team effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Opening and Closing Procedures: Efficiently manage the opening and closing tasks for the shop, including setting up and breaking down stations, ensuring all systems are operational, and conducting end-of-shift audits.
  • Station Management: Work across all front-of-house stations to ensure smooth operation, adherence to service standards, and proper training.
  • Training: Provide training and support to new and existing staff, ensuring they understand their roles, responsibilities, and the company's service standards.
  • Guest Services/Hospitality: Ensure excellent guest service by addressing guest needs, resolving complaints, and maintaining a welcoming environment.
  • Issue De-escalation: Handle and de-escalate any issues or conflicts that arise during the shift, maintaining a positive and professional atmosphere.
  • Email Management: Respond to shop emails promptly and professionally, addressing customer inquiries, reservations, and feedback.
  • Comps and Voids: Manage and authorize comps and voids as necessary, ensuring proper documentation and approval.
  • Clock Ins and Outs: Check and verify clock ins and clock outs to ensure accurate timekeeping and payroll records.
  • Labor and Sales Reports: Review labor and sales reports to determine staffing needs and adjust labor levels for the shift.
  • Quality Oversight: Monitor and oversee each front-of-house position to ensure quality work and adherence to company standards.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Previous experience in a front-of-house role, with supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong Leadership Skills: Ability to train and motivate staff.
  • Excellent Customer Service: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong Organizational Skills: Attention to detail and proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and managing reports.
