Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Food Preparation Specialist to join our team at Toastique Austin (Central). As a key member of our Back of House team, you will be responsible for preparing all food items, ensuring a continuous stock of freshly prepared food, and working closely with our Front of House team on daily prep lists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepares food for use in the Front of House, including ingredients, equipment, and vessels
  • Acts as a backup juicer, juicing as needed according to the juice prep list
  • Bottles and labels juice for sale in our merchandiser
  • Receives and puts away deliveries using FIFO (First-IN, First-OUT)
  • Stays organized and prioritizes tasks to ensure efficient workflow
  • Communicates effectively with owners and/or shift leads when inventory is running low
  • Assists with any/all station prep in FOH when needed
Additional Duties
  • Assists with restocking customer items, such as utensils, napkins, and cups
  • Checks that backup food items are present in FOH to ensure seamless service
  • Assists on food prep stations in FOH as requested
Requirements
  • Prior restaurant experience, including experience with food preparation and recipes
  • Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks
  • Energetic and positive attitude
  • Hard working and team-oriented
  • Responsible and reliable
